This is the closest parking lot to The Science Center. Please use the "Chemistry Deliveries" door and watch for posted signs that lead to the lecture hall.
Admission is free.

March 22, 2002 marked the 30th anniversary of Baird v. Eisenstadt and the national legalization of birth control. Guest speaker Bill Baird, founder of the Pro Choice League, will speak about current threats to reproductive freedom. Charles Kuralt's 1985 bio of Baird will also be shown.
November 9, 2003: The Red Bank Humanists invite you to our first meeting. We hope to create a Humanist community in Monmouth County by creating an atmosphere of stimulating discussion and non-religious fellowship. We'll begin by discussing the Affirmations of Humanism as set out by the Council for Secular Humanism.

Guest speaker Beth Lamont will discuss:
- her role as the NGO representative to the United Nations for the American Humanist Association.
- Humanist Philosophy and the various Manifestos.
- the life of her husband, Corliss Lamont (1902-1995), author of The Philosophy of Humanism.
Copies of Corliss Lamont's books will be available for sale at the meeting. Ms. Lamont has offered to donate all proceeds to NJHN.

Documentary: Scout's Honor. Originally shown on PBS June 19, 2001. The heartwarming tale of Steve Cozza and his love of scouting also examines the issue of the BSA's discrimination against gay youth and adults. In addition, the film tells the story of Scouting for All Co-Founder Dave Rice, a 71 year old Assistant Scoutmaster who was later expelled for challenging the BSA's ban on gays. Allen Reese (Director of the Somerset County United Way) and Deb Huber (Vice President of the Community Diversity Council of Hunterdon County) were guest speakers.
August 9, 2003: Annual NJHN Picnic. Schooley's Mountain County Park in Morris County. 12:00 Noon until dark. Adults $10.00, children under 12 half price, and children under 5 are free.
June 25, 2003: Annual Board Election meeting. Sara Brown, Brad Holcombe, Linda Kieseling, Lisa Ridge and Wanda Shiarappa were elected.
May 28, 2003: Group Discussion: How do we raise humanist children? Also, the slate of candidates for the NJHN Board of Directors was presented.
April 23, 2003: A Celebration of Charles Darwin with guest speaker Carl Zimmer (rescheduled from February).
March 26, 2003: Discussion of political action in relation to humanism and separation of Church and State. Our speaker was Bart Meltzer, National Outreach Director for American Atheists.
February 26, 2003: Group Discussion: Natural Selection, how it shapes evolution.
January 22, 2003: Tim Ridge presented Carl Sagan, A Humanist Candle in the Dark.
