NJHN Lending Library
NJHN maintains a lending library for NJHN members (click here to join or renew).
Books listed as available can be borrowed for a 30-day period between monthly meetings, or by special arrangement. A refundable deposit will be required for each book based on its rating determined by the book's owner.
Deposit based on book ratings:
- 1-3 $2.00
- 4-6 $4.00
- 7-8 $6.00
- 9 $10.00
- 10 $15.00
Deposit will be refunded upon return of undamaged book. You may also donate your deposit to NJHN for its operating fund, which helps pay our website expenses.
All borrow requests must be received by email or phone at least one (1) day prior to the next monthly meeting or special event.
Send your request to library at njhn.org or call 609-403-8238. There is a link marked BORROW A BOOK at the top of each library page which sets up this email for you. You need only provide the book's title before sending.
You must be an NJHN member to participate in the lending library.
If you decide to buy one of the books listed in our library, links are provided for online bookstores Amazon.com and Powells.com. NJHN has registered for the Afilliate program for both sites. If you use our links to buy, NJHN will receive a referral fee for each purchase.
